Thelda “Whiz” and J.O. “Bo” Creighton are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary, along with Bo’s 80th birthday, with a reception in Paris, Texas. The family is hosting the combined anniversary and birthday celebrations from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., June 6 at the Biardstown Community Center in Paris. Both Bo and Whiz were born in Lamesa. Whiz graduated from Lamesa High School in 1961. Bo graduated from Borden County High School in 1959. They married on June 1, 1961 in the Ackerly Church of Christ.
