A strong start helped Ricky Villalobos’ team win the annual Lamesa Boys & Girls Club golf tournament by one shot this past weekend at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. After shooting a 55 last Saturday, Villalobos’s team shot a 59 Sunday for a twoday score of 114 to win the fundraising tournament by just one shot. Others on the championship team were Jonathan Contreras, Chris Estrada and Manuel Vasquez. The tournament had 120 golfers participating on as 30 four-person teams.
