Memorial Day weekend is just a few days away, and that means many in the work force will be getting a three-day weekend. It also means governmental offices, banks and the post office will be closing for the holiday. The post office will be open Friday and will continue deliveries Saturday. The office is closed Monday. Banks will be closed Monday. Even the newspaper staff is taking Monday off. City Hall, county offices and federal agencies will not be open for business Memorial Day Monday.
