It is any graffiti artist’s dream: three walls, all the spray paint and house paint they need, and sitting right across from the law enforcement center without concerns of getting arrested for vandalism. All that painting is part of the graduation tradition for Lamesa High School’s seniors. The canvas, the former Higginbotham hardware building, gets new layers of paint each year right before the seniors get their diplomas.
