TAHOKA – The community’s first ever Cinco de Mayo festival was held May 8, and even organizers deemed it a huge success, with good attendance and fun entertainment for all ages during the six-hour event. The fun started at 4 p.m. and continued until 10 p.m.
“This was a huge success and a lot of fun! We are already talking about next year’s festival,” said Tahoka City Administrator Julie Arrington. “I estimate 400-500 people attended throughout the evening.”
