BROWNFIELD – Last week saw some unusual weather hit the county with some much-needed rains, but that also brought cold temperatures and a hail storm. The weather for many can be a welcomed guest, especially if it rains during a time of drought, but what was not welcomed was the hail. An area the hail can do significant damage in less than five minutes is in the vineyards.
