The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce has changed the date and time for its second annual Senior Parade due to a conflict with high school sports.
Instead of being held this Thursday as originally planned, it is being rescheduled to Sunday, May 23, at 3 p.m.
The rescheduling comes on the heels of both Lamesa’s softball and baseball teams both advancing in the play-offs after winning games last Saturday.
Both teams have playoff games scheduled Thursday evening.
“So we’re making this change so we can accommodate everyone and they can be part of the parade,” said Karen Mize, Chamber president.
