Reliance Energy of Midland is making plans to drill a horizontal well near the Klondike school in the southwestern part of Dawson County. Reliance received a permit from the Texas Railroad Commission last month to drill the Blue Beauty 15-22 No. 1DN about 10 miles southwest of Lamesa. The surface location will be about a mile and a half to the north-northeast of the Klondike school, near the southeastern corner of Section 10, Block 36 T4N of the T&P Railroad Co./J. Martin Survey.
