Four Borden County students came away with bronze medals in the recent University Interscholastic League (UIL) Class 1A state academic competition. Senior Mason Cole was a double medal winner, as he not only placed third as an individual in the state computer science contest but also was a member of Borden County’s third-place computer science team. Other members of that team were fellow seniors Austin Buchanan and Haddie Flanigan, along with sophomore Ethan Hargrove. Buchanan also placed fifth as an individual in computer science.
