The District 3-3A champion Golden Tornadoes’ softball squad hasn’t had much trouble lighting up the scoreboard this season.
During their current 13-game win streak they’ve scored an average of 10 runs a game. They put up 21 more runs in two games last weekend in their bi-district sweep of Alpine.
Heading into the area round of the playoffs this weekend they will be running into a ballclub which also is quite explosive.
