The Class 1A state baseball playoffs get underway next weekend, and Borden County Coach Bubba Edwards believes his Coyotes will be ready. The Coyotes are ranked among the Top 10 Class 1A teams in the state by two different polls, and they continued looking like it Wednesday at Gail with an 8-2 victory over Tahoka. There are six 2A teams and two 1A squads in District 4-2A. Being the only two 1A schools in that district means that Borden County and O’Donnell automatically qualify for the playoffs.
