The Golden Tornadoes softball squad took its fir step in the Class 3A softball playoffs Thursday evening at Monahans by making quick work of the Alpine Fighting Bucks. After shutting out Alpine 13-0, in the first game of bi-district playoff series, Golden Tors won game two 8-1. “Our girls were focused and did a good job of responding.
