The Borden County Coyotes will begin the Class 1A softball playoffs this weekend, and Coach Rusty Rainbolt believes his squad has what it takes to make a deep run on the diamond.
“We’re pretty sound everywhere,” said Rainbolt.
“We’ve got two pretty good pitchers (junior Shelby Milhauser and freshman Rexie Sanders), which is a blessing to have at our level. Defensively, we’ve got some pretty good kids. Offensively, we’re coming off one of our best games. We not only hit the ball a lot but we also did a good job of putting the ball into play.”
