Due to COVID-19, it’s been close to a year since the last time the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course hosted a golf tournament. All that will change this coming weekend when the course hosts its own annual Memorial Tournament. Golf Course Superintendent Victor Dimas is excited about getting things started again. As of Tuesday evening, there was already 27 two person teams signed up. The deadline to sign up for the two-day, two-person scramble is 6 p.m. Friday. Tee times will be 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. both days.
