The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce is putting on the ritz May 13 in honor of this year’s graduating high school seniors.
The Chamber last year organized a senior parade for graduates curtailed from many traditional activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chamber officials are planning another parade to honor this year’s seniors graduating from six area schools: Lamesa, O’Donnell, Dawson, Klondike, Sands at Ackerly and Borden County.
The parade last year brought out 85 to 100 entries.
“It was one of the biggest parades we ever had,” said Chamber President Karen Mize.
