After seeing his shot at running in last year’s state track meet taken away due to COVID-19, Sands’ Riley Webb is determined to run his final race as a high school athlete at Austin next month.
While it remains to be seen if Webb will reach his ultimate goal as a high school athlete he’s going to continue running regardless of how his senior year plays out.
Webb, one of the fastest Class 1A athletes in the state, signed a letter of intent to run for Lubbock Christian University this past Tuesday during a school assembly at Ackerly.
