The moment which Golden Tornado head tennis coach Jose Lucio has been waiting for since he got the job a couple of years ago has finally arrived. The District 3-3A Tennis Tournament is coming up Monday and Tuesday at Brownfield. The tournament was cancelled last year due to COVID-19. “We won over 100 matches last season only to see it all cut short,” Lucio said. “We feel very fortunate about getting the chance to play in it (3-3A) this week.” Action will get underway at 9 a.m. both Monday and Tuesday.
