Medical Arts Clinic newest addition, Family Nurse Practitioner Krystal Pizana, either had very bad or very good timing when she decided to return to school to get her master’s degree.
She finished her degree at the University of Texas at Arlington in August amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when nurses were highly-sought-after commodities.
“It was definitely an eye opener to start as a family nurse practitioner during COVID,” Pizana said.
She earned her nursing license in 2011 from the Covenant School of Nursing, and got her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Lubbock Christian University two years later.
