St. John Baptist Church in Lamesa will be the site this coming Saturday of a food and milk giveaway as part of the USDA’s Farmers to Families program. One hundred and forty boxes of food and 140 gallons of milk will be given away beginning at 10 a.m. on a first-come, first-served, according to Jermaine Cleaveland, pastor of the church. The church is located at 108 S.E. 10th St. It will be a drive-thru event, with everyone asked to remain in their vehicles. COVID-19 health and safety protocols will be followed.
