One Lamesa High School student is advancing to national competition and several others have been designated as national alternates after placing high in Business Professional of America (BPA) state competition earlier this month. Freshman Jaiden Barrera placed fifth at state in Administrative Support Research and has now qualified for the national contest to be held April 26-May 9. Like the state contest and earlier regional competition, the national contest will be conducted remotely.
