SEMINOLE – A familiar proverb states: “Behind every man is a great woman,” but in the case of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Laura John, it’s just the opposite. Behind the female cage fighter, or at least in her corner, is Seminole native and boxer Luis Luna. Expect to see Luis coaching her in the ring this Saturday as Laura battles Daniell Malone in Oklahoma City’s “Rage in the Cage.” Laura, who trains religiously with Luis in their home gym and at the MMA Fitness Center, moved to Seminole three years ago.
