Pecos has a good high school baseball program for years, and apparently the Eagles are another tough out this spring. But Friday evening, the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes proved they’re close to playing with quality programs like the Eagles. Missed opportunities, however, came back to haunt Lamesa as the Eagles captured a 7-2 victory. It was a one-run game after the first two innings with the Eagles up 2-1.
