Anytime you can get all-district in any sport it’s a definite honor. It may be even more prestigious when the district produces the top team in the state.
That’s the case this season in District 3-3A girls basketball, as league champion Brownfield was crowned the Class 3A state champion this past Wednesday with a 68-64 win overtime win against Fairfield.
