The Golden Tornado golfers continue getting better as they hosted their annual invitational tournaments this past week at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. Four out of Lamesa’s five boys shot personal bests this past Wednesday to capture a second place team finish. The Golden Tors shot a 467 to finish behind Lubbock Trinity, which won the tournament with a 342. Senior Mark Garza shot the best score for Lamesa’s boys, finishing with a personal best of 105.
