SEMINOLE – The South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD) in Seminole, with assistance from the Seminole Emergency Medical Services, administered 450 doses of the COVID vaccine during their mobile clinic Feb. 24. Held at the Gaines County Civic Building, the vaccine was administered to those ages 18-64 with chronic medical conditions as well as anyone age 65 or older. According to both the SPPHD and the Texas Department of State Health Services COVID-19 Dashboard, Gaines County currently has eight active cases of COVID-19.
