O’Donnell school board members agreed Feb. 18 to cancel the May 1 election, as only two candidates filed for the two positions up for election. “We didn’t have anybody but the incumbents sign up,” said Dr. Cathy Palmer, school superintendent. Incumbents Mandy Stidham and Trevor Halfmann are unopposed in their bids to serve additional threeyear terms. Board members later tabled a tower lease proposa with NTS Communications.
