After putting a 57-33 whipping on District 5-1A champion Whitharral Thursday night in a practice game at O’Donnell, the Eagle boys again look like a team to be reckoned with.
“We’ve won 10 straight now,” O’Donnell Coach Rocky Feliciano said. “We haven’t lost a game since our guys started playing for God instead of themselves back around Christmas time.”
Now 17-6, the Eagles took command of Thursday’s game by jumping out to a 10-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. They led 34-8 at halftime.
“We were seven out of 11 from the three-point line,” Feliciano said.
