The Lamesa City Council postponed their regular meeting Tuesday evening due to a power problem at City Hall. The electricity went off and a generator went on just after lunch Tuesday. The council was scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. “The city’s on generator right now. No power,” Mayor Josh Stevens said Tuesday. “We’re going to have to postpone the meeting.” The council is rescheduling their meeting to 5:30 p.m. next Tuesday, Feb. 23. The council usually meets on the third Tuesday of each month. The rescheduling will mean the agenda will see some changes next week. “It will be some differences,” Stevens said.
