On Sunday, February 14, 2021, Kimberly Davis, loving daughter, sister, and aunt passed away at the age of 55.
Kim was born August 17,1965 in Lubbock, TX to Orvis and Gloria Davis. She grew up in Lamesa, TX and was a proud graduate of Lamesa High School in 1983. Kim went on to graduate from South Plains College and later made Lubbock her home.
Kim, better know as “Aunt Kim” to all that knew and loved her, had a passion for her family. She took a great interest and effort to chronicle her family heritage, re-creating a vast family tree through lengthy visits with family members and travels to resting places of family members previously passed. Kim’s greatest passion in life though was her nieces and nephews. She always joyfully offered a loving and listening ear to those of us that knew her as “Aunt Kim.”
The youngest of five siblings, she is preceded in death by her father, Orvis; mother, Gloria; brothers, Brent Davis and Kent Davis.
She is survived by sister, Sandra Craven of Lubbock, TX; brother, Phil Davis of Lampasas, TX and sister in-law, Keepa Davis of Lubbock, TX; nephews, Shane Craven, Ron Davis, Ben Davis and Brandon Davis; nieces, Anissa King, Mindy Davis, Katie Johnson, and Randi Davis; along with numerous great nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to thank and request that donations be made in Kim’s honor to BRIDGE Hospice, LLC, 3409 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79410 for the love and support they have provided.
