The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Sunday, Feb. 7 12:50 a.m. – Police were called about a suspicious vehicle in an alleyway in the 1200 block of N. 3rd St. The person called again to report that her daughter’s best friend and that location apparently was seeing things, claiming a man was in a room and under a bed. Police arrested a man after a search revealed contraband in his possession. An ambulance was called to the scene but the man declined medical assistance.
