As with the area and much of the state, COVID-19 cases continue to be on the decline in Dawson County.
Only 14 new cases of the virus have been confirmed among Dawson County residents during the past week, according to the latest information available from the South Plains Health District (SPPHD).
The number of active cases was reported by the health district at 19 on Tuesday. That number is down from 27 a week earlier and 130 at the first of the year.
