Lamesa’s junior high boys basketball teams ran into a buzz saw here Monday evening against the Midland Christian Mustangs.
The home teams ended up losing all four of their games, but three of those losses were by a combined point margin of eight points.
“Our guys gave it their best but this was one of those nights where it just wasn’t enough,” Coach Aaron Anderson said.
Lamesa’s seventh grade A team is now 7-2 after losing a 43-40 nailbiter against the Mustangs.
JaDaven Hensley had 16 points, Cylius McCurley had 10, and Jacobi Dimas had seven to lead the Golden Tors.
