The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Tuesday, Jan. 26 1:13 a.m. – A male was arrested on a local warrant and taken to the county jail after a traffic stop in the 400 block of N. Lynn Ave. 6:56 a.m. – A collision involving a Dodge pickup and a Chevrolet Malibu was reported at the intersection of Hwy. 87 and Co. Rd. L just south of Lamesa. No injuries were reported.
