Philip Ray Paul
Philip Ray Paul, 78, of Midland, passed away January 6, 2021 in Odessa, Texas.
Philip was born on March 30, 1942 to Twila and George Paul in Grangeville, Idaho. Philip grew up in Lamesa, Texas, and graduated high school there.
He was a hard worker and dedicated 55 years of his life to the oil and gas industry with Key Energy Services. Philip was also Freemason with Lamesa Masonic Lodge. His hobbies included collecting old currencies, fishing, camping and hunting. He was always happy to be outdoors.
Philip is preceded in death by his parents, George and Twila Paul; wife, Martha Paul; sister, Georgia Carruth; daughter, Natalie Paul; and grandson, Noah Alaniz.
He is survived by his son, Toby Paul and wife Robin, of Midland, Texas; grandchildren, Jordon Gibson of Lamesa, Texas, Jacoby Alaniz of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Khileigh Alaniz of Midland, Texas; 6 great-grandchildren, and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Philip was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at 1:00pm at Ellis Funeral Home in Midland, Texas. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
