After their second loss of the season in their final game before the Christmas break, Coach Ben Connell’s Sands Mustangs dropped out of the top 10 in the state in Class 1A’s latest poll. If Tuesday afternoon’s game at Class 4A Sweetwater is any sign, don’t look for it to take long for the Mustangs to get back in the top 10. Sands thumped the Mustangs, 69-25, on their own home court.
