Gloria Villalobos Rodriguez apparently will fill the Lamesa City Council seat left vacant by the death of Luciano Reyes this past fall. The lone candidate for the job, Rodriguez, will step into office in March to fill Reyes’ unexpired term as the District 3 representative on the council. That term expires in May 2023.
