Rudy Ramos

    Family and friends will gather in remembrance of Rudy Ramos, age 53, of Lamesa, TX. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Gonzales Funeral Home. 
    Funeral service arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.  Due to the area Covid-19 situation we continue with public safety measures and for the safety of the family and our community face masks are requited at the funeral home with social distancing. 
    Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Rudy passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Lubbock, TX. 
    He was born on May 8, 1967 in Punkin Center, TX. Rudy married Olivia Hernandez on February 28, 1998 in Lamesa, TX.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio A. Ramos and Maria S. Ramos; brothers, Elroy S. Ramos, Gabriel S. Ramos, Julian Ramos, Manuel S. Ramos, Henry S. Ramos, and Fernando S. Ramos; his mother-in-law, Eluteria M. Hernandez.
    Rudy was a farm hand for over 35 years. He loved to watch old Western movies and cooking TV shows – his favorite was “Hell Kitchen”. Rudy loved to work on cars and trucks.
    Rudy is survived by his wife, Oliva H. Ramos of Lamesa, TX.; his sons, Justin Bordayo, Nic Bordayo and wife, Anel, all of Lamesa, TX., and Jacob Bordayo of Midland, TX.; his daughters, Samantha Lozoya and husband, Orlando, and Tina Rubio and husband, Joe, all of Midland, TX.; his brothers, Tony S. Ramos and wife, Linda, Rogelio Ramos, all of Lamesa, TX., and Felipe S. Ramos of Big Spring, TX.; his sisters, Eva R. Castillo and husband, John of Seminole, TX., and Rosa Maria S. Ramos and husband, Arturo of Seagraves, TX.; his sister-in-law, Dolores Ramos of Lamesa, TX.; his beloved grandchildren, Maryanna Bordayo, Mathew Galvan, Daniel Magallens, Marissa Galvan, Caleb Bordayo, Maleria Lozoya, Khloe Bordayo, Brittany Lujan, Cameron Bordayo, Melissa Lozoya, Nathdaniel Lozoya, Anahi Bordayo, Ayden Bordayo, Angelyna Bordayo; a host of relatives and friends.
