The Golden Tornado basketball girls squad has something else to smile about this holiday season as they take a two-game win streak into the Christmas break. Coach Shai Young’s hoopsters on Monday were at Dimmitt, where they knocked off the Bobbies, 36-31, for their first district win of the season. Tuesday they headed to Pecos and chalked up a 27-15 win over the Eagles.
