A proposed engineering study for a possible new wastewater pipeline in the southeastern part of Lamesa has received funding and is slated to go to the city council for possible approval next Monday. During a special called meeting this past Monday, board members of the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) agreed to provide the City of Lamesa $54,500 to fund an engineering study for extension of the city’s wastewater system.
