The city soon may be “cashing in” on a handful of game rooms in town. Lamesa City Council members last week discussed amending the city’s ordinance regulating game rooms and possibly increasing permit fees. The council took no vote on the matter. The $150 in permit and $100 in license fees for 8-liner game rooms may be a little low, officials said.
