The same way they dominated the opposition during the season, the Borden County Coyotes and O’Donnell Eagle grabbed most of the spotlight on the Division I all-District 4-1A Six-Man Football Team.
The Coyotes; who won their 13th straight district championship and outscored their four league opponents by a margin of 191-24, filled 16 first-team slots on the honor squad.
They took top billing with three superlative honors. BC’s Tommy Mack Kingston is 4-1A’s Offensive MVP. BC senior Mason Cole and O’Donnell senior Blaze Garces are the co-Defensive MVPs. Coyote freshman Ishmael Rodriguez is the Newcomer of the Year.
