The O’Donnell Eagles split their varsity basketball doubleheader against the Whitharral Panthers Tuesday night at the Eagles’ Nest.
O’Donnell’s girls are now 6-3 after knocking off the Panthers, 47-37. O’Donnell owned a 21-15 halftime lead.
“It’s a win but we really didn’t play that good tonight. We still had too many turnovers plus we also missed out on a lot of rebounds which we really should have had,” O’Donnell Coach Allison Hancock said. “We were able to hurt them with our press. That’s where a lot of our points came from tonight.”
