State boosts local COVID death tally

Another Dawson County resident has died as a result of COVID-19, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services (TD-SHS). The state website on Friday afternoon was showing a total of 37 local residents have now died from the virus. That is one more death than was being reported as of this past Wednesday morning.
