Ruben Esparza

    A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ruben Esparza, age 67, of Midland, Texas, and formerly of Lamesa, TX, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis Smith officiating. 
    Memorial funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Face masks will be requited at the funeral home. Due to the area Covid-19 situation we continue with public safety measures. 
    The memorial services will be “Live Streaming” via Gonzales Funeral Home Facebook.
    The family will be receiving relatives and friends starting at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 following with the memorial service.  
    Ruben passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in Midland, Texas. 
    He was born on June 26, 1953 in Lamesa, Texas.  
    He was preceded in death by his father, Damian Esparza, Sr. and his mother, Dionisia Esparza.
    Ruben enjoyed fishing, watching over his grandchildren, and helping his daughters.
    Ruben is survived by his four daughters, Teresa Esparza and son-in-law, Macario Yharte, Cynthia Urias and son-in-law, John Urias, Regina Esparza and son-in-law, Bryan Andrews, and Ashlee Mendoza and son-in-law, Juan Mendoza, all of Midland, Texas; 15 grandchildren; his brothers, Damian (Gilbert) Esparza, Jr. and wife, Irene Esparza of Lubbock, TX., and Ray Esparza and wife, Alice Esparza of Cleburne, Texas; numerous relatives and friends.
