After ending a 19-year playoff drought on the gridiron, the Golden Tornadoes are well represented on the Class 3A Division I 1-3A All-District Football Team. The all-district squad includes four Lamesa players on offense and four on defense. Representing the Golden Tors on 1-3A’s First Team Offense are senior quarterback Josh Marquez, junior running back Josiah Zapata, senior wide receiver Cam Diaz and senior guard Charles Aynes.
