The City of Lamesa’s landfill will be closed both Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holidays, according to Robert Ramirez, the city’s public works director. The landfill will reopen to the public on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and resume regular hours next Monday. There will be no residential garbage pickup until next Monday.
