Two teams and an individual from Klondike are advancing to state Leadership Development Events competition after placing high in the area contest this past Saturday. All three area qualifiers from the Lamesa FFA chapter and another Klondike team narrowly missed a chance to compete at state as well, each finishing third in their events at the Area II contest held in Ira. Only the top two finishers from each of the FFA areas in Texas advance to the state contest.
