ANDREWS - The final move involved with the new jail facility - transporting the inmates - was scheduled for this week, but ended up being delayed by an unexpected state inspection of the old jail at the courthouse, according to Andrews County Sheriff Rusty Stewart.
Other than the inmates and jailers, everything and everyone else has made the transition to the modernized, single-level jail/sheriff’s office facility, the sheriff said.
