Lamesa City Council members are meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to remember two of their own and call for an election to fill a vacant spot at the council table. Council members will pay tribute to District 3 council member Luciano Reyes for his service to the city. Reyes, 51, died Oct. 31 of COVID-19 related pneumonia. He was elected to office last May.
