Lamesa’s junior high boys hoop squads got their seasons off and running here Monday evening by winning three out of their four games against Muleshoe. The Golden Tors lost the eighth grade A game to the Mules, 36-28. Joshua Gibson had 12 points and Hector Zamora had seven to lead Lamesa. Lamesa won the eighth grade boys B game, 42-27. John David Salana’s 10 points led Lamesa. Lamesa won Monday’s seventh grade A game, 42-6.
